SWINE FLU RULES -
Like so many London schools, Willowfield has now had several cases of confirmed or suspected swine flu and Headteacher Ms Wilson issues health advice for students and parents.

Willowfield School will remain open for the last few weeks of the academic year.
'I am very pleased to say that students seem to be recovering quickly and describe symptoms as being like having a bad cold.'
Ms Wilson said, 'The virus is now so widespread in the community, schools are no longer being advised to close.'
The only exception now, she said in a letter distributed to parents, is if large numbers of staff are absent and that makes supervision of students difficult.
Ms Wilson said, 'We have reviewed our emergency procedures to make sure we are ready should there be flu cases in this school. Read all about it on the student news pages. »»

Top student Jansher Khan has won the June nominations for the Jack Petchey Award in a struggle to find the best of the best among Willowfield School's high flyers.
