Training School

Willowfield School is committed to providing quality learning and mentoring for those seeking to undertake Initial Teacher Training.

PGCE, OTT and GTP routes have run successfully over the past few years. We also run the Student Associates Scheme for undergraduates who are seeking to gain work experience in a school prior to undertaking teacher training.

We are highly regarded by the universities and higher education institutes with whom we work. 50% of Willowfield School Staff are trained mentors and we offer a wealth of knowledge and expertise to those seeking to train as teachers.

As an inclusive but small school, Willowfield School gives trainees the opportunity to experience a wide range of educational issues and equips them well to teach in any London school.

The school and staff are committed to enabling trainees to achieve the excellence that education deserves.

If you are interested in the GTP route into teaching, please contact:
Deborah.Chapman-Andrews@sch.lbwf.gov.uk

You must be 24 years or older, have a relevant degree in the subject you wish to teach, have GCSE Maths and English at level C or above (or the equivalent), and school-based experience.
