Our School Policies are here |
Introducing our Headteacher, Deputy-Head, Assistant Heads, and progress leaders and managers.
The basics about our school, about the demand for places at Willowfield, and our ambition.
A word to our new students about Willowfield and why we like to know you before you join.
Our aim is to give all students the opportunity to develop their talents fully and acquire the skills and aptitudes necessary to succeed in the adult world.
Because we are a small school, we have the opportunity to ensure students are treated as individuals both in terms of their learning and in terms of the care, guidance and support they receive.
Our broad and balanced curriculum is planned for the interests and needs of our students now and in the future..
Students are encouraged to respect their own and their neighbours' right to learn. Our aim is that they will take responsibility for their own behaviour.
Our specialist school status shows that English, including literacy, History and Citizenship is especially important to the school.
We are very interested in what our students think and in what they have to say. We have an active student council, a student voice, that we listen to.
There's much more to Willowfield School than our main subjects. We have a very good range of after-school and lunchtime activities.
The award of a Careers Quality Mark reflects the importance we place on preparing our students for the future.
We want parents to support their children's learning and to encourage it, we support the parents. We see it as a partnership.
Students need good teachers, and teachers need good support. The development of staff is most important to Willowfield.
Our new school will be built soon - not rebuilt, which means no disruptions to the learning programme.
Admissions to Willowfield are managed by the local authority and are made in accordance with the Waltham Forest Admissions Policy.
