To change your display settings in Windows, or just to check, you should first save anything you are working on.
Right click on the open Windows 'desktop' and click 'Settings'.
Adjust the screen resolution to a high setting (1280x800 or higher). Your viewing will be so much improved in higher settings.
If you think your fonts look a little small in the higher settings, you can adjust them, too.
Go back to 'Properties', then 'Appearance', and choose larger fonts from the drop-down menu.
If in doubt, you have your own computer's 'Help' pages to fall back on.
