Gifted and Talented Provision at Willowfield Humanities College

The identification and provision for More-Able pupils at Willowfield School is not just a scheme for the able students. It is also a means of raising the quality and standards of learning for all pupils.

Our aim is to guarantee the entitlement of Gifted and Talented students to an appropriate and challenging curriculum, through the development of a positive ethos in which all students have access to a programme which offers sufficient breadth, depth, pace and challenge for their educational needs and ability.

Also, to ensure that all staff demonstrate positive attitudes towards the education of Gifted and Talented students, sharing positive teaching and learning ideas and experiences within their professional practice.
