Last year was not very long ago. Here's some of the faces who appeared on the Willowfield School website, just a few months back. But how many people do you remember?

Time waits for no human, least of all those at student age. Perhaps some of the people you know but hardly recognise after a year or two of life. One of these colleagues might be you ...Now, who is that? »»
Digital photos optimised a year or two back don't enlarge very well. The true picture is among the thumbnails below. But generally you can make out the subject, despite the unkind distortion of pixels.

Our students are learning about cameras and about the world we live in - our neighbourhood. It's part of a London 2012 Games project. The students are just beginning but even now there are some super photos in the collection. Hopefully many more will be added over the next few weeks.

'Silence in court!' thunders the usher, and the regional finals of the mock magistrate's court trial began. Who won it? Willowfield, hands down. You might well have expected expressions of misery when our great photographer Sally Knight ventured into the deeper reaches of Willowfield School's playground in search of sadness. After all, our kids were going to have to make do without their favourite school for more than two weeks. However, our students being the courageous souls they are, donned brave masks. These almost-convincing looks seem to say that they will try to endure till they can return from the April holidays on the 22nd.

Wednesday nights are fun nights at Willowfield School when we have Family Fun evenings. Teachers and parents and students and brothers and sisters meet together and play together. Haughty students playing with their mums and dads in front of the other kids! Seems an unlikely scenario in these television-influencing days when everyone's got to be grown up long before their years. But on Wednesday evenings, life is natural and family fun becomes universal. The door is always open for more families to join in.
