| News breakers ... Bringing the news to the world can be a tough business, but Willowfield School student editors preparing for the nationwide School Report News Day, to be held on 11th March, make it look quite simple. Our reporters have been reporting and our copy tasters tasting, photographers photographing, and here our editors editing ... with news obviously too exciting to wait till it hits the newstands. A BBC story and photo is here. A shot of more of our editors is here. |

Chelsea powerhouse Didier Drogba scored six points at the weekend for his double against London neighbours Arsenal.

Is our Deputy Headteacher about to lose his top spot to Year 8 student Shovon Malik?

Just look at this week top managers and you will see what I mean.
The closest rival is strong soccer man, Damian Skubich, and the very serious players in his determined team, Main Event Mafia. Read all about it on the student news pages. »»

Helping hands ... Meet Willowfield School's 2009-2010 prefects, our helpers extraordinaire. You've read about bullying and unhelpful prefects in books about the bad old school days. Our fine people are quite the opposite. They aren't here to catch students doing wrong. Our prefects help them to do right, help them make the best of their school year, help them make the best of their lives. They're here to help and we can't help but be very proud of them.
